My question is about who is qualified to do some of the procedures, such as put in crowns. Shouldn't the dentist be the one doing it, not staff that are barely out of high school ?

Had a follow up appt with this dentist for fillings for my daughter. As with many people, she is not comfortable with needles. She asked the doctor to go easy and give her a minute to ease into the situation.
After a very short time and without warning told her "I dont have time for this" and dismissed her from the chair with no further explanation. Did not even try to calm her or assist her in a substantial way. The assistant came out and told me we would have to reschedule.
I asked if we could start over and I would come in and help the situation (have done this before with other dentists without a problem). She said no. I asked to speak with the dr and they said no. The doctor would not come out and AT LEAST explain the situation to the responsible party/parent! Their only comment was "We dont have time today". This struck me as odd. Remember, only about 10 minutes had passed this whole time.
I have NEVER complained in public about a professional before and rarely complain at all about anything, but this behavior/business practice was out of the ordinary for a doctor.
Very dissappointed with the doctor ESPECIALLY after having a good experience with their techs for cleanings on our initial visit.
I have to give "Bed-side Manor" for this dr a low rating, from my one experience.
I hate doing this, but I feel this offended. Thank you for your time in reading this. Judge for yourself.

Came in for a relatively minor procedure to have a lower retainer removed. Staff was very nice, but not well organized.
Had a serious issue with my bill following the procedure, there was no insurance review in place by the office staff. They gave assurances that I was covered after looking at my insurance card and I ended up being on the hook for the whole bill.
Seemed like decent medical staff, but dangerously unprofessional billing.

I have had dental issues since I was 12, thus, I have been through a number of dentists in my life. Dr. Klemma and his staff are the best crew of dental professionals I have ever encountered. His plan of action is always focused on the long-term health of your teeth and he is always concerned that you are comfortable during treatment. Even if I move 1000's of miles away, I'd come back just to visit Dr. K for dental work.

I was referred to Dr. Klemma by another patient because I needed dental veneers. I want to tell you that I drove 30 miles to be sure I was getting the best and was very happy I did.
I am very happy with the result and get so many compliments on my beautiful smile. Dr. Klemma knows what he is doing, is very professional and only does what is necessary. He will not rush a procedure, he does it right. I was not in any pain during any of the appointments, he is very gentle. His staff is very nice and will go out of their way to help you. I highly recommend Dr. Klemma to anyone who wants just regular dental work or cosmetic dental procedures, he is the best!!!
My whole family now goes to Dr. Klemma and I am still driving the 30 miles and it is worth it, I wouldn't go to anyone else.

I first saw Dr. Klemma when he was a mere pup, back in the Eighties. He was great, and I can only assume he's continued to provide excellent service. He did side-by-side root canals at the same time and I never even flinched. I spent so much time in his office I believe I vested in the pension plan. I presented needing 13 fillings, 3 root canals, 3 crowns and 3 extractions. When I moved from Illinois to Arizona, I spent years trying to find a dentist who came anywhere near Dr. Klemma's talents.

We moved to the area from Alabama 4 years ago and Dr. Klemma is the 3rd dentist my son and I have gone to. Dr. Klemma and ALL his staff are great and take the pain out of going to a dentist. out of all 3 of them Dr. Klemma was the only one that took the time to really see what our needs are.

Only dentist I have been to that truly is painless - been through root canal and extractions. Staff is also great.

Dr. Klemma is very personable as well as talented in his field. He is always complimentary on my teeth, and has a way of keeping you at ease. I have never felt any pain during any work done.
His staff is also very friendly and personable. It is very clear that they care about their patients.
