I was a dental patient of Dr. Jang, first ignored my gumline cavaties telling me they were just enamel eroding. When I saw him a year later he told me they were cavaties but medi-cal didn't pay him enough to make doing my cavaties worth his while.
He was happy to give me a 10 minute tooth cleaning and extract my teeth but beyond that he was a detrement to my care.
Choose someone else.
Today I called them to pick up my xrays the ones medi-cal paid them for a year ago and they told me I had to pay an admin fee of $15.00. Rip me off some more!!

Dr Janmg is a good dentist, at a reasonable price.
I enjoyed his services, for a complicated treatment.

I have mixed feelings about Dr Jang's office. The staff is nice and seemingly knowledgeable but a bit too rushed and eager to make money. Such is the impression that I got. One of the dentists drilled a hole in one of my child's molars to place an unnecessary filling. There was no cavity -- only a natural concave shape that she said might turn into cavity. My son has never had a cavity in his whole life. Subsequent dentists were amazed that this was done. In my experience, customer service is non-existent. I have sent multiple letters requesting dental records and there was never a reply.

I didn't have a bad experience at Jang and Associates but I didn't have a great one either. I went there for two cleanings and one filling. The staff at the front desk were nice but the dental technicians did not engage me in any conversation and spoke Chinese to each other - which isn't a big deal - but it would be nice if they'd ask me how my day is and talk to me in English at least a little bit. We did find a new large cavity at a new dentist I'm seeing so I'm a little upset that we didn't get that on the radar at Jang and Associates - but we did know about it there and were going to get to it in a few months - just seems like it's a pretty big cavity.

Our families were Jang and Associates patients for many yrs, They never check my perio pockets, Dr. Calvert Jang took impression and cemented my lower front bridge, the metals attaching to both adjacent teeth are showing on the incisals. He did not show me how to clean under the bridges with floss nor checking my bite with articulating paper. I no longer going to his office

I have been going to Dr Jang for years. Excellent! The staff is lovely, they are usually on time, and they are all very efficient. I recommend them highly.

This guy is a real people person..And it obviously filters to his entire staff..
