My busy family has been patients of Dr Gillis for about 5 years. We range in dental needs. I have just completed a wireless ortho treatment called Invisalign with Dr Gillis. I couldn't be happier with my treatment and the results. I have even whitened my teeth after we completed the straightening. My children have always had a positive experience with both Dr Hanson( a female) and with Dr Gillis. They are kind and gentle with the children. The staff seems happy to help. My family couldn't be happier with our dental experiences in this office!

I have grown up going to Dr. Gillis and have never had a poor experience. The staff is knowledgeable, welcoming, and efficient. I have seen many hygienists at this practice, as well as other dentists in the practice and have never been disappointed. The facilities are always immaculate and this office is constantly updating their technology. Every experience I've had has been pain free, and everyone that works here is so nice that going to the dentist is fun! I think that the price is very fair, I'm happy to pay for great customer service. I've never had an issue with any insurance claims or billing, everything is taken care of for me by the front desk. In my opinion, a dental office can't get better than this one!
About Hygienist: All of the hygienists are great and very thorough. I've never felt as though my visits were rushed.

I have visited Dr. Gillis' office many times. Initially, I saw a female dentist at his practice who was very, very good. Unfortunately, she moved out west and I was transferred to the newest dentist there at the time (this was about three years ago). Well, he was not nearly as good and so I left. After a poor experience at a different dentist's office, I returned to the practice and asked for Dr. Gillis directly. He has been fantastic. He is very thorough and prides himself on his work. Generally, the hygentists there are always kind and do not floss overly vigorously. They don't always know answers to questions though; so, it's best to go straight to the good doctor himself when you're there. As for the cost, I too called around and found that Dr. Gillis' office is slightly cheaper than other dentists. But, that was not a factor for me since I am happy to pay more to secure a good, reliable dentist.

I was disappointed to have received a bill that was 75% more than the price I was given over the phone. I don't have dental insurance, so I shop a little to find a decent price and Dr. Gillis was the cheapest (but only by a small amount--$15). But when I received my bill it was much more than the price I was given. There was nothing wrong with the treatment and everyone was very nice, but I felt that I had been very clear over the phone in asking how much my appointment would cost and I find it rather unacceptable to hit someone with a bill that is 75% more than the quoted price--especially so considering that they did not do anything more than the treatment that was discussed over the phone.

My family and I have been seeing Dr Gillis, and now other members of his practice, for more then a decade. We have had a universally positive experience. Very relaxed, family oriented practice, no hassles with insurance, friendly attitude, up to date equipment and very flexible scheduling.
