Read Reviews for Dr. John Meola
In May 2010 I stumbled and fell and badly fractured and dislocated my two formerly perfect front teeth. I was devastated and inconsolable.
This practice saw me as an emergency patient on a saturday morning and over the next two months not only dealth with my seriously wounded teeth and bones, but crafted the most gorgeous crowns on my front teeth you have ever seen. I had truely beautiful natural teeth before, but they are even more beautiful now. I received two root canals, titanium posts, and lots of TLC.
I am a master's prepared registered nurse. I know good clinical care when I see it, but this practice is more than that--it is also full of compassion, concern and good humor.
Everyone in this practice is graduated from the top dental schools in the country. Their prices are well in line with any dentist I have used in the Boston Area.
I know this doctor: six months

I've been a patient for probably 10 years now. They do great work, but it is a little depersonalized in a sort of assembly line style (but this is why they do it well - everyone does their specific thing). I've had a few crowns and they are comfortable and beautiful. It would be nice, though, if they would walk you through all the procedures you have to go through before they start the first one, e.g. Visit 1: Root canal, 2: shape for post and impression, 3: get post and impression, 4: get crown and shape. Knowing what is coming is never clear. All the other doctors are as good as Meola in their fields.
Dental assistants are great.
Office managers were always willing to help with insurance.
Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Yes.

I've been a patient for about 2 years now. I had 2 crowns done on my frount teeth about 7 years ago at another dentist and they never felt right. They we're way too big compared to my other teeth and there was a black shadow on the top by the gum. I had them replaced last year and I couldn't be happier. I even met the lab guy. They made my new crowns so they matched my other teeth. I had all my teeth whitened 1st and you can't tell the difference between the crowns and the reg teeth. I checked around 1st and Dr. Meola was the only dentist that paid any attention to what I wanted
