Read Reviews for Dr. Stanley Brager
This is my first time to get three painful injuries inside my mouth and on my lips (visible ones) while getting my six-month dental cleaning. It was my first and last time to see such a dentist.

I had a great experience with Dr. Brager and his staff. He was courteous, thorough, and conservative. He called in a specialist to confirm his diagnosis regarding an absessed tooth that had to be extracted, which was a higly-professional action. His office doesn't have the fanciest, newest equipment but it does the job and his prices are reasonable. Most important of all, he does an excellent job. I wish he had been my dentist many years ago. I highly recommend Dr. Brager and his staff.
About Front Desk: Very friendly, helpful staff. One time they made a 1/2 hour mistake on my appointment but they hustled and got my appointment moved up on time.

Went in with a chipped tooth around a filling but got talked into having a crown over the whole tooth. It took three attempts for them to fit the crown correctly, so I ended up wearing a metal cap for almost two months, with several apology-heavy visits. A year on, I have bleeding gums around the crown and have been told my jawbone is now dissolving there. I have changed dentists.

Very rude dr, made comments to me about my weight in front of his staff and other pts, He actually laughed and made fun of me. even rubbed his hands on the front of my dress, making rude remarks.

The office is old. some of the front desk staff looked like they just woke up, most of the Dental Techs looked unclean and did not have much dental knowledge. Most of the staff's medical scrubs looked old and worn. One of the Techs told me she and alot of the other Techs were not certified to take xrays. I can tell the office makes a lot of money but the staff don't look like it. The staff and some of the associate dentist or not intelligent about dentistry. I felt that the office vibe is like being at a cicus or day care. The offce managers avoided helping a staff member with insurance questions. Dr Brager yells at the staff every time I go there. One of the dental techs kept running up in the front office laughing at the way a patient looked she yelled at the office manager when she was asked to stop talking about a patient. Then one of the front desk ladies kept calling the same tech back up front to joke about other patients, and laugh at the office manager for being scared of her, and to laugh at staff members. The office manager seemed to be afraid to say anything else to the tech. If you want to go to a circus without a ring master, go to doctor Bragers office.
I do not go to Dr Bragers office anymore.

He is reckless with your mouth, procedures hurt and he chips teeth by accident. He and his staff are nice enough but if you go to this dentist, the well-being of your mouth is in danger.

Highly knowledgeable and patient, explains all procedures. The wait and the procedure could be a bit longer than expected since it's a very busy practice. Equipments were on the older side when I first started to go there (late 2004) but they've been gradually upgrading the equipment.
I've seen quite a few changes during the 2 years I went there, mostly positive. The billing could be a bit confusing, but they'd always explain them to you.
I've just moved to another city and hope I can find a dentist like him.
highly recommended.

The facilities were decent, but I found that the "bed side manner" varied from brusque to sometimes confrontational. I was also put off by the act that, after going there for the better part of a year and having gotten several major procedures, I was charged $100 for missing an appointment. I also found that I was sometimes in considerable pain during treatment, which I did not beleive to be normal. Overall, I found my time there rather unpleasant.

They hire another company to send out their bills. So when they have issues with your insurance they keep sending you bills but tell you to "ignore them". Uhhh, yeah unless I want it on my credit report, I'm not gonna ignore them. Everytime I call and ask them to touch basis with my insurance they don't. It's been 6+ months and I've gotten the same bill in the mail and every month I call and they tell me "oh we're waiting on your insurance". My mom has had the same problems.

I went to Dr. Brager when a student at the University of Maryland. During this period I did not have a lot of money since I was a full time student. Dr. Brager did extensive work, great quality at a very affordable rate. I am forever grateful.
