Dr. Baker is very nice and seemed to know my insurance. She would cancel other appointments, just to fit me in. She also told me that since a particular patient who works for NASA always cancels on her, she would do the same back to him; so she could fit me in.The biling practices are a little sketchy. When did I become a dentist? How am I supposed to know exactly what was being done inside my mouth. Who knows that an amalgam means a silver filling, not a porcelain? Which the girl in charge of billing did not tell me was not covered by my insurance. Becuase the cost is very high, my insurance only covered a small amount (the cost of a silver filling) leaving me to pay the difference. Had I known that I had a choice between silver or white, I would have obviously chosen the cheaper of the two. I was never told I had a choice. The answer was that anything not covered would be written off. Not to mention the fact that I asked for everything to be preapproved by my insurance. I also told the girl in charge of billing (she no longer works there, leaving me to pay for her mistakes) that I didn't want to get stuck with a huge bill after all was said and done. She told me I was okay and everything had been taken care of.

Very Expensive, unfriendly staff (other than the doctor), customer service was awful. The person in charge of billing does not know how to add and she underestimates by hundreds of dollars, what your insurance will pay. They will offer you preventive treatment and not tell you the cost. They are nice and will tell you that they can "write off" the difference if there is a problem. They will not help you with your insurance, because they no nothing about insurance.

Pay for parking, pay for copies of X-rays, pay more than you should for your dental care because Dr. Baker does not accept insurance--oh, and also pay for cosmetic and add-ons that she and her staff push. Nice office, though--not difficult to understand who paid for it...

With a very sensitive and light touch, Dr. Baker eased my fears that an onlay would be a terrifying experience. Everything went great, including hygenists, front desk, and pain mediation. 5 stars
