Dr Patrusha is very nice and the dental assistant Laurie was very nice..They made sure i was comfortable and in no pain.actually I think the cost of the root canal was more painful then the actual root canal itself..the receptionists,especially the billing manager weren't so friendly..Cheryl expects you to pay thousands of dollars upfront and doesnt want to work with you without charging an extra fee..as much as I liked the dentist I won't be back..a friend of mine recommended a dentist she says the entire staff is wonderful!

Quoted one price, then charged another. Had to go to a different dentist and tooth had to be pulled after Petrusha charged well over a thousand dollars.

After being a patient for over 20 years Dr. Petrusha let his office staff (Barbara and Cheryl I think) bully me and send me to collections for a VERY small amount of money that I would have easily paid off within the next 30 days. When I first asked if I could make payments, the office staff member pretended to go and ask the doctor, then came back with a sad face saying "noooooo, he won't let us, I'm so sorry!!!!" although I doubt if she even said anything to him. Since they wouldn't let me make payments I had to have a temporary procedure done which didn't work. When I later asked if I could make payments (I mean give me a break this is DETROIT and we were in a recession!!!) they asked, "Well yes, how much can you afford?" which caused me to ask "Why didn't you let me make payments to begin with and I could have had this all over with and not had the procedure I could afford but which didn't work???" Terrible office and billing staff - they "do a work up for you" and take you in a little room and discuss all the work you need and how much it's going to cost and you feel like you are being bribed or cheated or strong armed!!!

About Hygienist: Dr. Petrusha is a good dentist and was always nice to me as was his hygienist Cindy who was a beautiful, wonderful person, very gentle and kind and caring. I don't know why he let a good patient with a good job go. I was in the middle of a bad divorce and mother going into a nursing home and was having a temporary tough time but the office staff did not want to work with me or help me. I have sent many patients to him over the years. Not any more!!!!

He is simply the best. I had some major work that required hours and hours in the chair and he made it as painless as it possibly could have been. He even came in on a Saturday to see me when I had some problems with a temporary crown. I trust him and his staff to do the right thing everytime. Cheryl the office manager is great! Very friendly and professional. Never a problem with billing, payments, etc. No suprises!!

About Hygienist: Cindy has been my hygienist for all but one of my visits, She is very knowledgeable, professional and most importantly she is gentile. She is always pleasant and sweet.

I have been a patient since I was 14. I won't go to any one else! He does a great job and is easy to talk to. The whole staff is wonderful.

About Hygienist: They are always very nice and do a great job! I would recomend them to anyone.

Without any Dental insurance it's a little pricy but Dr. Petrusha is, by far, the best dentist I have ever had. Very good with appointments, very friendly and easy to get along with staff. I actually just got an opportunity to get a better Dental insurance through work but I like Dr. Petrusha so much and have had him for four or five years now that I decided not to get the insurance as it would require me to go to a different doctor. Recommend 100%
