I was initially impressed with Dr. Zamler's professionalism and his calm demeanor. However, I went in to see him on my first visit because a molar was seriously painful. He crowned the tooth without looking further into why it was causing me pain. Then I started to get migraines right after seeing Dr Zamler for the crown. He then sent me to an endodontist for a root canal on this same tooth that he had just crowned with a gold crown. The endodontist found a tremendous amount of infection and was not able to complete the root canal in one trip due to the tremendous sensitivity caused by the infection. I feel that Dr. Zamler should had addressed the pain that I had on my first visit with him. But he just crowned my tooth and left it at that. It would have saved me time, money and most of all the pain that I was going through with the infection and headaches caused by it. Then when he billed me, I was not able to pay it right away. So instead of asking me for payment arrangements, he sends it to collection who calls me at WORK to discuss paying this bill!! I am totally appalled. I would never discuss personal things such as paying bills on my work time!
About Hygienist: The dental hygienist was great! Very friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable. Always willing to answer questions and always had a smile on her face.

Dr. Zamler does his own dental crowns, uses the latest technology and keeps up with all the latest procedures. Excellent service, staff and facilities. The encourage you to bring your children when they are young so they are comfortable with the atmosphere. Great pain abatement procedures as well.

Dr. Zamler has done all of my fillings and crowns since I've lived in Michigan. I started with him in Rochester and migrated to his office in Royal Oak. He's the best dentist I have ever had, providing completely successful service in a relaxed, pleasant manner. Pain control is superb and well managed. The office staff is friendly, courteous, knowledgable about insurance, and accommodating in every regard. The dental hygienists, without exception, are skilled and efficient in every respect. During the years I have gone to the offices there has been almost no turnover in basic staff, suggesting a friendly, fair and competent work environment. Dr. Zamler is professional, personable, and up-to-date in dental treatments. His referrals to specialists have been superb and he is now treating my toddler children. His facilities are spotless and well-organized in a relatively compact space, though he has expanded in recent years. His reasonable rates probably reflect a prudence in spending on office space.

Dr. Zamler is top notch! He is VERY thorough, professional in every sense of the word, soft-spoken yet confident, kind, extremely well-educated in dentistry (he can explain anything to you in any degree of detail that you have time for) and uses cutting edge equipment. I think he is one of the very best dentists in overall skills, knowledge and patient interaction that I can recall ever having known.
The staff and DHs are very professional and kind as well--not often do you see new faces, so things must be good for them too.
Equipment is modern and facility is bright & clean, despite the older exterior of the building.
I highly recommend!
