Dr. Lai has does great work and takes a conservative approach to procedures. I have never had cause to complain or worry. Furthermore he did a great job with my daughter and nephew when they were growing up. He refers us to excellent specialists as needed. If a procedure is needed but can wait for the next insurance period he will accommodate that.
In my experience with dentists, some will scold or let their hygienists scold if they think you are not taking adequate care of your teeth. Dr. Lai never does this and he never lets his staff do this. Instead he creates a supportive atmosphere which encourages good dental care.

I love Dr. Lai! He's always friendly and professional. He's a perfectionist when it comes to "fixing" your teeth, and he doesn't skimp or cut corners where your teeth's health is concerned. I recommend him to all my friends and co-workers. He's a great dentist!

Dr. Lai is great, smart, personable. I wouldn't go to any other dentist. He also gives very good referrals where necessary (e.g. I had a root canal and the surgeon was excellent too). And you get a nice goody bag with each cleaning (toothbrush and paste, floss and some extras).
His front office staff, however, leaves a lot to be desired (bad "you're lucky I'm helping you right now" attitude, tattoos, low cut tops, generally very strange for such a professional office otherwise).

I have been a patient of Dr. Lai's for over 9 years and have recommended him to everyone who asks for a recommendation. He is an amazing Dentist with no-nonsense advice and a great sense of humor. I no longer dread going to check-ups twice a year and trust him implicitly. He has done some minor gum work when I had pocketing as well as fillings and protective work.
I would send anyone and everyone to Dr Lai!

Ross is a great guy. He takes the time to explain things and treats you like gold, solid gold. His staff is amazingly friendly and I always like seeing them. I like him so much I get my teeth cleaned every two months. His expertise is evident in every thing he does. He takes the time to make everything he does the best it can be and he also trys to save you money by saying things like, well we'll watch this tooth but let's wait and see, instead of emptying your wallet on the spot. He is the best dentist I have ever had in any state and would recommend him very HIGHLY.
Dr. Ross Lai is a humble god. I just can't say enough about him and his talented staff. And, I used to hate going to the dentist. My mouth and teeth are in great shape due to his expertise & knowledge.

Dr.Lai is very friendly and helpful, and I trust that he knows how to take care of my teeth. I didn't feel that he was trying to push any unnecessary procedures and he was very efficient and did a great job on my teeth (fillings/cleaning,etc).
His fees/costs are very expensive however, so be ready for your insurance to cover only part of the costs and always get pre-approved first! I got caught twice paying hundreds of dollars out of pocket because his fees are significantly higher than what insurance cos will cover. Also, I noticed that he charged me higher than quoted on a few things, but the service is great so I will return...

Dr. Lai is a very caring and friendly dentist. It seems like every patient he has becomes his life long friend too. He is a perfectionist in his work and is highly skilled. You will not find another dentist anywhere that will treat you as well as he will.
