I used to go here to see Dr. Lender and another specialist there. This is literally a money-making scheme they have going on here. I had a root canal and some fillings done. The crown that they put on my tooth after the root canal gave me a lot of trouble and pain so I went back. Dr. Lender told me that once the crown is set, there is nothing he can do and did not seem very helpful or cooperative at all. On top of that, when I was there, Dr. Lender and his assistants kept talking to each other in Russian or some other language that I couldn't understand and I didn't know if they were discussing my case or not. In any case, it was highly unprofessional and a bit rude. So, anyway I continued to go back there because my tooth was still hurting me. Then one fine day, Dr. Lender tells me that he can remove my crown and put a new one and that I would have to cover the cost all over again. I was shocked to hear him say that because he had previously mentioned that removing my crown was not possible. I have obviously changed dentists since then and I never ever want to go back here. This has literally left a bad taste in my mouth. I do not recommend this place to anybody. Worst dentist and dental place I ever went to!

Dr. Lender was terrible-rough, uncaring and he performed unneeded fillings on my teeth.

During a crown procedure he mockingly said to his assistant, "He wants PURE gold. Not just Jews want gold HE wants gold too." My mouth was full of stuff and I was furious. Gold harbors less bacteria than porcelain and that gold is less likely to break opposing teeth. Since when does a cash paying customer have to justify a better choice to a dentist then be mocked in a cowardly fashion by that same dentist with a mouthful of rubber and steel? Certainly worthy of noting was the root canal procedure that caused a brown acrid smelling chemical to leak into my nasals for the weeks following the root canal. They tried to reassure me but stopped short of saying that is normal. The Doctor who did the procedure said he was better than others because he got all of the root and did not have to prescribe pain killers. I am concerned the deeper dig caused some weakness in the membrane to the nasal system. While waiting for the crown procedure an older woman seemed to have the same problem. When I overheard her explain her similar symptoms to Dr Lender, he kind of brow beat her by raising his voice and bringing his hands down on the counter forcefully. He is most rude and pushy and needs to be educated on how to not be racist.

About Front Desk: Staff was ok until I expressed my unhappiness. Then they were more about defending him than being friendly, though I was very unhappy with Dr Lender, so it's not their fault.

I came to Dr. Julian Lender through a couple of recommendations. I booked my appointment by phone and I was really surprised: Dr. Lender offers the flexible work hours. This is really good for people, who are working from 9am to 6pm. The staff was always pleasant, very friendly and accommodating. Having lived with dental issues for many years, I was very nervous seeing a dentist again as I knew that I had a lot of work that needed to be done. Dr.Lender is exceptionally qualified, compassionate, thoroughly explains what he is going to do with reasons and takes great care with every procedure. I am more than satisfied with the results and I am sincerely grateful for the professional care Dr. Lender has provided for me. It is a pleasure to recommend Dr. Lender as an excellent choice for dental care.

I love Dr. Lender!!! And no, I'm not professing romantic love. It's more of a tooth to tooth kind of thing. Dr. Lender and his team are extremely professional and personable. They definitely provide for a comfortable atmosphere for your dental experience, maybe it’s the overdose of compliments they paid me, but hell that's the kind of customer service I don't mind! He does do a good job and he works very gently with my teeth and was consistently checking to make sure I wasn't in too much pain as I was getting some deep cleaning done. I’ll give them 5 stars. I highly recommend Dr. Lender as anyone's dentist!

About Hygienist: I've had a wide range of cleaning experiences, and this was among the top. Dr. Lender and his assistant are super gentle and don't go overboard on that awful scraping, and ask you throughout if you're comfortable. I like how they set up a system of letting them know when you need to pause (raise your left hand), because lots of dentists I have been to don't do that and then you just have to kind of whimper in an embarrassing way. Hygienist also didn't ask me questions while she had her hands in my mouth, something that my last dentist used to do and drive me crazy. I'll be back in the office soon for an additional procedure and may have more insights then. But for now, I am so happy with Dr. Julian Lender!
