I'm trying to find Dr. Scott he is NO longer in his office on 57th Street. I have been hiss patient for over 20 S. I've been deadly sick for several years. Two months ago I called his office and excited that I heard his voice on the machine. Have a tooth problem two week called for appt. NO ANSWER or MESSAGE. Got a BAD fleeing. I disabled and have to find out what happened to him. Went to the office and his office was NON EXSISTENT. My heart tells me he DIED. If anyone knows anything please e-mail or call at

I had been a patient of Dr. Scotts for the last twelve years..Never thought he was the best dentist by any means but my requirements had fortunately been very minimal…teeth cleanings and filling of cavities..I had complained frequently of tooth pain in one of my molars.. He kept ensuring me that all it was, was a tiny crack - that would cause me pain from time to time but since it had not gotten worse over the years I should just leave it...well fast forward during my last visit I complained again…He told me I needed a crown and that it would cost me two grand..said my insurance would cover half and the rest I could pay out over time. Had already paid him $400.. $200 every month…instead of calling me to find out why my third payment had not been received( I had been away on vacation) I got a collection letter. Was shocked not only had I been LONG standing patient but had referred at least a dozed people to him over the years. Obviously he should have fixed the crack right away..very negligent and non ethical.
Bad dentist..bad person!

Dr. Scott is the perfect one man show. He always has fantastic (usually latin or jazz) music playing, is never stressed out when I see him and treats my teeth efficiently and sensitively. Dr. Scott has filled cavities, installed more than one crown and even performed an emergency root canal less than 24 hours before I had reconstructive shoulder surgery. I can not recommend him highly enough!
I love hearing about his latest (usually Caribbean) vacation.
About Hygienist: One man show. Dr. Scott does it all.

I started seeing Dr. Scott when I was a kid and have never contimplated leaving. He is excellent, careful, informative, thorough etc.
Even though my union provides free dental I would not think of switching. My mother, and grandmother went to him as well.

Dr Scott is an exceptional practitioner...I actually look forward to my visits with him, thanks to his peaceful, soothing manner and his pain-free, skilled way with my teeth. In a world in which it's become easy to spend more time with the clerical personal in a doctor's office than with the doctor himself, Dr Scott is a rare bird who does it all: answers his own phone, cleans teeth, takes X-rays, helps you fill out the insurance paperwork, provides a mailed 6-month reminder card...and all with cool jazz wafting through the background. I heart Dr Scott!!!

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Scott for 30 years. Even after moving 2 hours away from the city, we continue to keep him as our dentist. He does excellent work, knows his limits and refers to other dentists when necessary, and is honest, fair, and straightforward. I couldn't ask for better qualities in a dentist. My only fear is that someday he will retire.

Dr . Scott is dependable, thorough and puts patients at ease. He pauses appropriately to allow for discussion during treatment. He faithfully sends reminder notices for future appointments. He accepts insurance reimbursement. He has a sense of humor and he cares. What could be better!

Dr. Scott is the coolest. His practice is personal, professional, affordable and effective. He provides excellent care and takes a conservative stance so you do not get drilled for no good reason! He runs a one-man office and is efficient and affable. I look forward to going to the dentist.

Dr. Scott is excellent. He allows plenty of time for each appointment. There is never any wait once I arrive, and I never see any other patient having to wait for me. He also runs a bare-bones office. Seems like a one-man show. He is the receptionist and dentist all rolled into one. Which is how I like it, since I'm there to get my teeth cleaned, not to read the latest issue of Vogue magazine while smelling roses and engaging in chit-chat with a lovely receptionist.
