Tooth extraction. Very painless process. Atmosphere was great. The staff was very professional and personal. I would definitely recommend this dentist to others. In fact, I have already scheduled my next appointment.
This is from a person who has only been to the dentist 5 times in my adult life and I do not have a regular dentist.

love dr pitts and his staff...always friendly.
i have had cleanings/reg check ups and a filling. procedure done with little to no pain and always in a timely manner

Dr Pitts is a family friend, however, I can still be objective about him. It's always hard to rate friends and family but not in this case.
He is the "consummate professional" and is extremely effective at his craft. With an "easy-going" and very personable manner...in my opinion he is second to none! I've never had any discernible pain nor has my son.
About Hygienist: His staff is very effective and amicable as well. We've always felt comfortable any time we've been there and I recommend him highly.

I've been going to Dr. Pitts for more than 10 years and I would not go anywhere else. The staff is like family and I feel very comfortable when I walk in the office. I would recommend him to anyone because he tells you what he is about to do or doing to your teeth. It is a relaxing and pain free environment.

I was with this denist while he worked for Northland Family Dentistry on Morese Rd, Columbus OH. More times than not the elevators have an "out of service" sign on display so i tend to avoid them altogether which made the hike to the third floor office not very fun even for a physically fit person like myself.
In the cleaning area they have a small tv playing daytime soap operas. I swear that the hygenist was paying more attention to the tv than she was to my mouth! I tried to speak up about her being more gentle but she blamed me for not brushing correctly (I've never had any dentist tell me this before, so I found this hard to believe but didn't argue, I asked what I could do to improve my brushing habits). I ended up going home with a very sore and bloody mouth. At the time I was in high school and still under my parents plan so I was forced to return to this office for the nxt 3 yrs. It was the same thing and i tried asking dr pitts about it with no success. I tried several hygenists, the best one was Melissa, she seemed to be fairly gentle but at the cost of my teeth not seeming very clean. Now that I've had my own insurance for 2 yrs, I won't EVER be going back due to countless painful visits.

His staff was the greatest negative but I think that has changed in recent years. His dentistry is average. He doesn't give you his full attention when working on your mouth.

The facilities and environment is pretty good. The cost is a little high but you still can have insurance help.

The staff was ok. They seemed friendly enough, but I don't feel Dr. Pitts listened to my concerns. I just didn't feel completely confident with his work.
