I was with this denist while he worked for Northland Family Dentistry on Morese Rd, Columbus OH. More times than not the elevators have an "out of service" sign on display so i tend to avoid them altogether which made the hike to the third floor office not very fun even for a physically fit person like myself.
In the cleaning area they have a small tv playing daytime soap operas. I swear that the hygenist was paying more attention to the tv than she was to my mouth! I tried to speak up about her being more gentle but she blamed me for not brushing correctly (I've never had any dentist tell me this before, so I found this hard to believe but didn't argue, I asked what I could do to improve my brushing habits). I ended up going home with a very sore and bloody mouth. At the time I was in high school and still under my parents plan so I was forced to return to this office for the nxt 3 yrs. It was the same thing and i tried asking dr pitts about it with no success. I tried several hygenists, the best one was Melissa, she seemed to be fairly gentle but at the cost of my teeth not seeming very clean. Now that I've had my own insurance for 2 yrs, I won't EVER be going back due to countless painful visits.
