I cannot imagine a finer dentist. If he ever caused me pain I sincerely believe it would hurt him more than it would hurt me. He is conscientious, caring and competent.

Dr. Elkjer is a wonderful man, very competent. If he tells you to go to a particular specialist, choose the one he is specifying, as that will be a doctor of equal skill, painlessness AND caring consideration. I learned that the hard way, and now will ONLY take Dr. E's first choice referrals. He is a calm, funny, quiet man. It is a family atmosphere with stable, small staff. He is quite good at his work, and you do not feel you are funding a fancy operation and luxury lifestyle. You feel you are paying an honest man reasonable money for top notch work. They always try to figure out the most cost-effective way to get all of your health needs met. Can't say enough how glad I am to find him.

About Hygienist: Because of the extreme sensitivity of my dental condition, I've been unable to complete a hygienist visit. This is also a positive about Dr. E - he numbs me and does my cleanings. We hope to reach gum health that puts me in this chair instead.

I have always been satisfied with Dr. Elkjer's work. The office is friendly and the work has been nearly painless.

I've been seeing Dr Elkjer for so many years now that I've lost count. Before that I was seeing his father, Robert Elkjer. I will not go anywhere else. Any care done to my teeth, from crowns to cavity treatment, x-rays, etc... have always been done with care and great bedside manner. Dr Elkjer always takes time to explain the procedures before and after it's done. He answers any and all questions, and believe me, I ask lots of questions. I will not go anywhere else as I am a super chicken when it comes to dental work and will travel great distance to have the good doctor treat me.

About Hygienist: Dental Hygiene work has consistently been good as well over the years. My teeth have always felt clean afterwards. At times there are some less than friendly hygienist but never rude. I'd sacrifice that though just to have a hygienist of Dr. Elkjer clean my teeth. They offer topical numbing her for cleaning (q-tip swab over your gums, no shots) which is a lifesaver!

Dr. Elkjer went above and beyond in my treatment. I had a quesiton on the weekend which was answered promptly. It seems to be very family and cosmetic oriented, this is my second doctor I had visited because of the amount of money I was going to spend for cosmetic dentistry. I had a few root canals that needed to be taken care of before the "pretty stuff" could be started..he was PAINLESS! completely painless. On the downside, he is in an older office..on the outside, but his actual "work areas" were very new and updated..I am guessing it is an older office he has purchased and is working on upgrading. Bottom line..I am thrilled with my smile..Dr.Elkjer is a caring, painless doctor, with a wonderful staff. I spent a chunk of money on my mouth and its worth every penny!

Dr. Elkjer is a born dentist. He has a very high skill level and pride in his work. He is a bit awkward with people in a sort of sweet way. I'm not looking for a psychologist, however, I'm looking for a skilled dentist. I have always been happy with his work and Pat is an Angel.
