I have been a patient for over a decade and I can say from experience that Dr. Potter is knowledgeable, professional and his staff is very well skilled in what they do as well. One time about 7 years ago, I chipped a tooth on a Sunday before I flew out that Monday for 3 weeks. I was concerned so I paged him and he interupted his own weekend plans to meet me at his office to treat me. I do not think it is easy to find that kind of dedication.

I have to admit that before I didn't like dentists very much. I thought no matter who the dentist was any kind of treatment or precudere would hert. But then I met Dr. Potter, who changed the way I look and feel about dentistry. Before each step Dr. Potter explained to me what he was doing, which helped me relax. During the procidure I did not feel any pain, even when he was putting anestetic to numb the area.
The staff is great and very helpful in all aspects of dentistry, even offered to refer me to other dentists in the are who specialize in other areas of dentistry, which helped me save a lot of time and money.

Dr. Potter was recommended to me as one of the best dentist in San Francisco. I like that he is organized and very professional. Before he did anything in my mouth he explained to me all about it, so that I didn't have any surprises. This really helped my uneasiness. Before I left the dentist chair I new exactly what my treatment plan was and how I needed to procced. Dr. Potter was gentle, careful and made sure that I was comfortable during the visit when he replaced my silver crown and couple fillings.
The staff at his office are great too. Arlene, the office manager was very helpful with the insurance claims, and not to mention very cheerful and friendly.
