Read Reviews for Dr. Stevan Koprivnik
I saw Dr. Koprivnik for more than 20 years. During this time I had multiple procedures including a root canal and several caps.
I was initially impressed with his technique and the overall quality of his work. He was always expensive but I felt that I got what I paid for. I eventually left his practice because the quality of care deteriorated and the cost went up. I finally came to the conclusion that he was recommending unnecessary procedures simply to collect the associated fee. I have my teeth cleaned every 6 months, usually early in the mornings. There were several occasions where I did not see Dr. Koprivnik for several years at a time.

The worst experience of my life. After going to Koprivnik for approximately 13 years, he convinced me I needed to have my veneers replaced. He had done the first set and I didn't have any problems. Since he replaced them, they have fallen off 15 times. It's not just one or two veneers, it is every one of them that have fallen off at least once. He is trying to say it is my bite, but then why didn't he know my bite after I was his patient for 13 years? When I asked for a partial refund, he refused. I am very unhappy with the service I have experienced with Dr. Koprivnik, and needless to say, I have found another dentist.

I was embarassed to smile before I met Dr. Koprivnik. He placed 8 Lumineers on my top teeth and I haven't stopped smiling since!! He and his staff made me feel so comfortable during the procedure, they were all so friendly and understood that I was very nervous. From scheduling appointments to financing my procedure the staff knew how to answer all my questions. When I go to an appointment I never wait more than 5 minutes before I'm seen. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!

Dr. Koprivnik is a very polite, soft spoken person. I began going to him in the late 80's and have stayed with him through the years. He's gentle, allows me to use the gas and headphones to relax during procedures. He's allowed me to pay over time on certain procedures, especially before I had dental insurance. His staff is really great, with very little turn over through the years, so the working conditions must be good. The highest turnover has been in the dental hygenists, The one they had for years, who was great, just left and they are using temps until they find a replacement. Not so impressed with the temp. Overall, my husband and I are very pleased with Dr. Koprivnik and his staff and have referred friends and coworkers to him. We temporarily were living 30 miles away for several years and never entertained the thought of changing to a closer dentist. Well worth the drive!

The doctor did my Lumineers on four of my front teeth. My co-workers didn't think I needed any help with my teeth, but I knew better. All my friends and co-workers raved how fabulous I looked! They could not believe the difference and said I needed to smile more now! Koprivnik is so calm, really cares, and wants his patients to be happy and comfortable. I had no pain. He offers laughing gas and a CD/Radio with headphones you can use during procedures involving drills--like fillings. He warns you that you may feel uncomfortable or some pressure. He took our company's insurance and knew what my co-pay would be so I didn't have any additional bills and everthing was done that day. Since he is close to work, most of my co-workers are now his patients and really like his work and service. They love the office staff, too. Stevan is the MAN in Austin!!!

I've been a patient for several years and have always received excellent basic care. Low pain, reasonable costs, and an excellent chair-side manner. The hygienists have always been good to excellent. It can, however, be difficult to get an appointment at times.

I have had good experiences with Dr. Koprivnik. Unfortunately, I had to move away. I would recommend his services in the Austin area.

After my dentist retired, I despaired of finding another dentist that was good (I have had some bad ones) - I was very impressed with the staff, my cleaning, my examination, and not being pressured into *preventative dentistry* - perhaps a little expensive if you dont have dental insurance but if you do billing was all handled very nicely... I did need some crowns and he was non-pressure to accommodate my insurance - i.e. we did the worst two teeth first and will takle the other ones next year when I have coverage (my insurance only covers $1000 a year) - billing was quick and efficient, doctor was nice and pleasant and they do have nitrous oxide and music to cover up the *unpleasant sounds* - the nitrous oxide was not extra! I am glad to have found another good dentist and especially recommend him if you are insured! Avoid the cattle places that are gigantic clinics - they will pressure you into work that is not needed (I dont need to mention their names - if larger than three dentist office - BEWARE)
