Honest, friendly, fast, painless, I can say after living in Az. for 17 yrs. This is the first dentist I have found that I would highly recommend to all my friends and family... So happy I found him.
About Front Desk: so very friendly.. I felt like a VIP. thanks for treating me so well =)

my top teeth all 12 had a variation of things that needed to get done. I had a combination of implants, crowns, a bridge and veneers that would have to be accomplished in order to get the smile I've always dreamed of. I went to 2 other consultations, with Dr. Smallwood being my last one... I am so grateful that I went to his office. His office, from the staff, to the doctor himself were SO helpful and inviting. I just felt like they cared about who I was as a person and not just another patient, and I appreciate how patient they were to want me to understand and educate me on what my choices were. My smile is more than I ever dreamed of, and the my experience was pain free and easy. I I have 12 veneers on my top smile, and I although Dr. Smallwood is ok on pricing, he is so worth every penny I paid. I can't wait to finally get my bottom teeth done too by Dr. Smallwood!
About Front Desk: Paulina was great to work with. She went above and beyond to help finance me, work around my schedule, and was great on following up with me needs. Dr Smallwood sure seems to train only the best.
About Hygienist: Hygienist are sweet, educating, and wonderful to me.

Dr. Smallwood is a very caring and dependable guy. I think is is fair and reasonable and answers questions to the best of his knowledge.
About Hygienist: Lacie the hygienist is polite, excellent, very careful and leaves your teeth feeling bright and clean

Hygenists are thorough & professional. The decore is 1st rate. Unfortunately that's where the praise ends. The turn over in the billing department and the lack of knowledge about insurance plans by the front office has made a lovely practice a living hell for me. I have yet to recieve a bill that even remotely resembles my proceedures. If you plan to take many hours over many days off work to get your bill corrected this is the place for you! If they tell you something is covered, you better check for yourself, many times that is not the case. The billing department has turned into a small time extortion syndicate. First they want you to pay for the entire procedure upfront, including the part your insurance will cover! After many, many billing problems my wife gave them one last chance to get it right. As you may have guessed by this reviewed they exceeded even my wildest dreams and have taken incompetance to a new high. Two months ago my wife & two children went in for a routine examine and cleaning. Three days ago I recieved our 1st bill $215 owed (60 days past due), 2 days after that a letter threating collection in 5 days. Long and short, all claims but $64 paid by insurance, which we were assured was covered.

In a word, awesome!! The knowledge and expertise that Dr. Smallwood displayed was phenomenal. The smile he created for me was exactly what I was looking for. This group is the way it should be done. There is a reason why Dr. Smallwood and his team are considered the best in teh Valley.
