My one and only visit to this Dr was a humiliating, embarassing and totally unacceptable experience.In attempting to explain my needs and problem to this Dr i was insulted, humiliated embarrased and generally treated worse than you would treat a dog. He first attempts to justify his rude demeaner by explaining his assistant was involved in an accident on her way to work which one can only asume this is what got him started on the wrong foot today. The person on staff who set the appointment was asked direct pertinent questions about whether he could drain an absess as stated yes he does that. When i asked the Dr if i could have an absess drained he stated no one on his staff could possibly have told me this this and furthermore that i didn't have one. The session went from bad to worse as he went into a tirade belittling me for trying to recement a tooth, that i've been around the block and already seen so,many dentists, he be came angrier and angrier and finally says do you want an estimate or not? I could go on for ever emplaining this Dr's rude and uncalledfor treatment of me. I am a senior on fixed income and i have never experienced such a humiliating, emotionally painful experience with and Dr or Dentist in my life.

I have never had to NOT recommend a doctor or dentist. Sadly Dr. Batres is my first. I have never experienced pain like I did recently when Dr. Batres performed a root canal procedure. His lack of personal skills didn't help either. He continually yelled at his staff and at me (the guy paying). I'm astonished that people put up with such rudeness and agony. I went to him at a friend's suggestion, after my tradional Dentist no longer accepted my insurance. Happily he has reveresed that policy and I will once again be seeing him.
I wish Dr. Batres' staff the best of luck because they truly are a great bunch. They all could find employment elsewhere.

Never will I return to see Dr. Batres. The work he did was very painful and it contiues to hurt. He placed a crown and after it continued to hurt he stated he needed to remove the crown and a root cannal was needed. No bedisde manner whatsoever!! Staff very rude!!! I switched to a different dentist. My new densist is great!!!!!
I do not recommned Dr. Batres to anyone.

Dr, Batres is extremely competent and professional (he's been my dentist for 30 years), and I would recommend him to anyone.

Yes his bedside manners could use improvement, but his workmanship and results are what really matter to me. I've had work performed by other dentists and the results were not as favorable. I don't want to be pampered - I want a pro working on my teeth. When it comes to dentistry I want high quality work - everything else just comes in second. If you are not blessed with perfect teeth I highly recommend this Dentist.

Dr. Batres is an excellent physician. The only problem my family and I have encountered is that of his receptionist. She is very aggressive and treats her patients with total disrespect. She undoubtedly does not realize that her patients are her source of income. Therefore, my family and I were unfortunately forced to seek the services of another dentist.
