I had a root canal performed by Dr. Rigby. Three years later I am getting it redone and they are having to remove a piece of the drill bit through the bone that was left in there.
While I was there to get my work done there was a patient with and emergency tooth ache and was also going to have a second brian surgery that week if I understood correctly. She wanted Dr Rigby to speak with her doctor before doing any work due to her condition. Dr. Rigby was very snappy and quite rude to his assistant when she asked him to talk to the doctor on hold. She didn't know what questions to ask and seemed nervous. I knew that if he didn't care about something as important as that then I didn't want him to be my dentist. He seemed like the two of us were interrupting his exciting cosmedic procedure in the chair accross the hall. Although this experience has always bothered me I never thought to review him. The reason I am now is because I just had to schedule surgery with a specialist to remove the piece of drill bit he broke off in my gums and dedo the root canal that Rigby did. Turns out is was a $1300 dollar mistake that I am now having to pay for. Glad I switched when I did!

Dental Implants were successful. Crowns occassionally need tightened. Professional, friendly staff.

My experiences with Dr. Rigby and his office staff have been very pleasant and positive. I recently had a teeth cleaning (along with digital x-rays) and had 5 cavities filled. Everyone (even the front desk staff) was very accomodating and friendly, and answered all my many questions. I asked about how they could find the cavities on the x-rays and the hygienist showed me how their system worked and what the images showed the dentist. They have flat screen TVs attached to the ceiling in every exam room, with behind-the-head headphones so you can listen and a remote so you can change the channel. I have had poor experiences with Novocaine, and informed both Dr. Rigby and his staff about this, and found out what my old dentist used that worked for me. I called them with the information and my call was returned both by one of the front desk ladies and by a hygenist, both of whom spoke to Dr. Rigby and reassured me that they use a stronger variety of the drug that worked for me. During my subsequent cavity filling appointment, Dr. Rigby and his assistant both continually asked if I was comfortable and stopped to administer more anesthetic when I had the slightest bit of discomfort. I would highly recommend Dr. Rigby to anyone.
