If I could give zero stars for a review, I would give it here. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt like I was in a car dealership. Before her assistant could finish with the cleaning, they were trying to sell me on every service they could offer. They also automatically try to give you fluoride, which they know is not covered by most insurance plans for adults. After being given a clean bill of health by Dr. Drummond's assistant, Dr. Drummond suspiciously found a cavity. I wasn't buying it, so I went to another dentist for a second opinion and he said I had excellent teeth and absolutely no cavities.
The saga doesn't end there though. A few weeks after my appointment with Dr. Drummond, I received a bill for the full price of my cleaning, with no explanation in the bill of what services were being charged. Apparently, my insurance company hadn't sent their payment yet (it was paid a few days after I received the bill), but Dr. Drummond's office sends out bills in a very short time frame without contacting the insurance company or the patient beforehand, and without itemizing the services in the bill.
If you want to get over-billed, over cared for, and fillings you don't need, this is your place! I, however, will never step foot in that place again. The DC area is full of crooked dentists, and this office is a shining example. If you want an honest dentist, try Dr. Tummarello in Fairfax.

I met Drummond and his staff for the first time and I was impressed. Dr. Drummond takes his time explaining treatment..and in detail. He will go over xrays with me showing where there is a cavity and also showing me the condition of my gums. He also has a camera that shows me the inside of my mouth. He took a picture of a particular tooth that needed treatment and printed it out. And then later he emailed me the picture as well. This showed me that the treatment he was recommending was indeed needed to be done. Also the financial staff printed out my insurance information along with a picture of my mouth showing where the tooth that needed treatment was located. Everything done at Dr. Drummond was neatly explained. I was given an appt right away and I had no reservations about what I would be paying or what I was getting. The office is beautiful and very clean. I have recommended my coworkers to Dr. Drummond's office.

The office staff is very personable but sometimes hard to reach. The doctors seem well trained and make you feel at ease. The facility is modest but they are moving locations soon.
