I cannot believe that this dentist is licensed. This was my root canal experience. First day dentist gave me no information on what she was going to do or anything. I explained that I thought it was the back tooth when I first felt the pain. I believed it was the tooth that they were working on but she decided she needed to demonstrate. She took a tool and tapped my back tooth and there was no pain, she then took the tool and hit my infected tooth as hard as she could and then preceded to tell me it was my fault she hit it so hard. Let my panic begin. I think it is her making a joke, though she never acknowledged it or did I, but all 8 or 9 times over 3 visits whenever she gave me the numbing shot her hand would shake like mad. She proceeded to do whatever she was doing for my root canal. The root canal took two days. After the second appointment I get a call saying she left some root and asked if I would like to fix it. She made it sound like it was nothing so I declined. Then I started getting tooth pain so I went back to her to fix it. Third visit took a long time as well. Now I still have a sensitive tooth with a giant unplugged hole in it. I believe she botched it again and I refuse to go back.

Dr. Sheldon is a very nice lady. Unfortunately, she hired a complete moron as a receptionist/office assistant (her only employee) to handle all of the billing for her business. This person called my insurance to get an estimate on the work and she gave my insurance rep the wrong procedure class (class B instead of class C). Instead of waiting until my high option insurance kicked in starting in January, I decided to get it done before then because the out-of-pocket costs were reasonable...or so I thought.
After the procedure, the complete idiot behind Dr. Sheldon's front counter sends me a bill for almost $400 saying my insurance denied a portion of my claim. After getting harrassing calls from this crazy person for weeks, I finally tracked down the department that issued the original estimate. My insurance said the bonehead behind Dr. Sheldon's desk told them the wrong procedure class! So now I'm liable for an additional amount of nearly $400 that I wouldn't have had by waiting until January, which is what I wanted to do in the first place???!!!
I feel terribly sorry for Dr. Sheldon. There's got to be another reason this lady is working for Dr. Sheldon. There are way too many unemployed candidates in this area for someone so inept to still be managing the billing of an entire dental practice.

I had 2 root canals by Dr. Sheldon; they both went really well with no problems. I was soooooo happy that it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would!!!! Dr. Sheldon is a wonderful, sweet individual who really cares about her patients!!!
Lily is the BEST; she helped me with all my insurance questions and I didn't have to worry about anything!
I would recommend Dr. Sheldon to everyone! I love her!

Dr. Sheldon had redone 7 root canals for me, which were made in Russia before. That was amazing precise job.
My life is different today. Thank you doctor.

I saw Dr. Sheldon for a root canal and it was not as bad as I thought it would be. She was very, very thorough when it came to making sure I was numb. The process was long, but she made pleasant conversation and played music. There are also fun decorations in the office to provide a nice distraction. In the end she even drove me home because it turns out we live near one another. The receptionist is also very nice. I would suggest them if you must have a dreaded root canal.
