Very nice staff, very nice office, top of the line equipment, but also very expensive. A bit too pushy with the cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Allegretti and the entire staff is very professional and nice. The office is very clean, and warm. The staff made me feel welcome and not just a patient. I recommend this office to everyone I know that needs a dentist.

We switched to his office after a bad experience at our prior dentist., and the diffeence was night and day. State of the art care all the way! Our whole family has found the office helpful and friendly. They are always ready to throughly explain procedure options and answer our questions. On two occasions I needed emergency help on the weekend and Dr. A. answered my page promptly and provided me with the care I needed.

The MOST expensive dentist I have ever been to. Led to believe they would give me consideration because they do not accept my insurance but did not. Tried to convince me to get lots of dental work that I do not need. I have great teeth. The technician did most of the work, so I paid for a dentist and got a technician...Cannot afford to go back!

As a military family, we have been in and out of the DC area for about 15 years. We continue to go back to him whenever we are in the area for his great service and friendly office.

Yes, the doctor and his dental staff are outstanding, the best I have ever seen. I even fell asleep during a root canal. However, the above list of metrics fails to include how they handle the business management side, which in my view is poor.
I made it clear that I had only so much in my FSA net of insurance payments and I wanted to keep the cost of my wife's and my care to a set number and then do the rest in the following year. When my wife got there they ignored my wishes and talked my easy going wife into all sorts of treatments that went well over my budget. Their response was that the treatments wanted was up to my wife, knowing that they were taking the path of least resistance. I am so upset over this that even though they are great I will not go back.

The care at Dr. Allegretti's office is generally good but it is very apparent that his office considers itself a high-brow dentistry operation. Customer service from the front desk attendant initially appears to be good, although the $100 missed-appointment fee is outrageous. At expressing my concern about such a high fee, the desk attendant became rude, cynical and unhelpful. She laughed when I expressed that Dr. Allegretti's services were becoming too expensive. Thus, I will never go back to this dentist; I'll go somewhere that accepts the low-benefit government dental insurance and doesn't require huge ($250+) out-of-pocket visit charges for simple teeth cleanings.

Dr. Allegretti really tries to address your concerns. His office is beautiful and he has so many little extras that I've never seen in ANY other Dental Office.
His staff is top notch! They are friendly, professional, responsive, and accomodating.
No one there ever tries to sell you services that you don't want or need.

Everyone in the office is extremely nice and helpful. The atmosphere is very pleasant and calming, other than having work done in my mouth. Dr. Allegretti explains everything he does as he goes through the procedure. I would reccommend them to anyone who has insurance they accept.

Dr. Allegretti has a great chair-side manner as do all his hygienists. Beautiful office!
