I have been coming back to Dr. Hilal Ahmad for more than 20 years. I was just in yesterday for a root canal and the overall experience again; consistently excellent. He is so compassionate and his staff excels at customer service, I highly recommend Kent Hill Dental Ctr.

Treats my family like we are part of the family in concern, jokes with the kids so that they are relaxed, talks to them at their level so they understand what is happening to their teeth, mouth, jaw structure and overall health. My kids do a better job brushing and flossing because they UNDERSTAND because of the care and treatment they receive at this office. Nothing special about the office and no need to be, the care is what is important. Also, great recommendation for orthodonitics as well.

Easy to work with. Addresses you concerns, cost effective and does a good job at a fair price. I chipped a tooth that was in need of a root canal and they took care of me right away with care and professionalism. I don’t need a fancy waiting area or a place with stone counters…I’m just getting some teeth worked on and not spending the night in a 5 start hotel.
I will be going back.

Dr. Ahmad is so wonderful. So is his partner Dr. Singh.
I am nervous about the dentist and Ahmad is so kind and genuine.
His pricing is fair. His staff is very nice, remember me, good bedside manner.
They took care of ALL my insurance stuff before my first appointment. Wow. So easy.
They are fabulous. And I've been to 5-6 dentists in my life.

Dr. Ahmed has been my dentist for about 7 years. I changed to Dr. Ahmed because I was often unhappy with my previous dentist.
The facility is very nice, but not as fancy as my previous dentist's. His assistants do not dress up in special costumes on holidays or decorate the office. This is not important to me. What is important is the clean, warm, friendly atmosphere, the honesty with which my questions are answered and the highly professional care that I have received. I have never had a crown come off or any negative experiences with the many, many procedures Dr. Ahmed has done for me.
His staff are excellent and the hygienist who has been with him for many years is thorough and very experienced.
About Hygienist: His hygienist has been with him for many years, is obviously up-to-date. She is exceptionally through and gentle.

Did not have separate rooms; just a half wall divider between the chairs. I would sometimes sit for long periods of time with my mouth agape and could hear him talking to other patients and people in the office.
The office seemed to be overbooked constantly.
The root canal was initially unsuccessful, and I had to go in for a 2nd treatment. He also seemed to use old techniques, though I can't confirm that.
The filling he did was very poor; it left my back tooth with a sharp jagged edge.
The only plus is that I paid nothing out of pocket; it was fully covered by my insurance through work. You can't say that about most dentists, but it just isn't worth it; better to get the work done right.
About Hygienist: Nothing particularly out of the ordinary, but the equipment he was using seemed very old.
