Nicest dentist I've ever had the good fortune of finding. I'm 30, and in the past usually dislike dental anything -- but Dr. Jacobs makes visits a pleasure! He is kind, beyond gentle and so friendly. Best dentist I've ever had by far.

Although dr jacobs may be as nice as others say, no one that I know or that asks me will find out. His reception and desk staff are THE WORST! They screwed up my appointment date, made me cancel my entire day and then said oops sorry. Instead of trying to find a solution or solve the problem, they were dismissive and patronizing. they said these types of errors "happen every day". With the morons at the desk there, I BELIEVE IT!
Unfortunately, just avoid this office

Dr. Jacobs is the best dentist I have found in the entire city of Los Angeles/Beverly Hills. His demeanor and attitude are always positive, he is extremely thorough, clearly explaining everything he is doing, before he does it. I had no pain or discomfort when having a number of procedures done (filling, crown, and bridgework.) His chair side manner is excellent. His costs are less than other Beverly Hills dentists. I highly recommend him.
With regards to his front office (they are horrible). I have needed to call numbers of times to have vital insurance documents sent to me. You certainly don't get a good vibe when walking in the door of his office.
About Hygienist: My last dental cleaning (by a young lady) (perhaps her first time doing a cleaning)??? was like taking a shower with my clothes on. She did absolutely nothing except manage to get me soaking wet as she attempted to clean my teeth.

Dr. Jacobs and his staff are great - they are thorough and explain everything beginning to end. They care about you and your teeth and promote preventative care first! Appts are easy and the front desk staff are super friendly!

Dr. Jacobs is an extremely kind and knowledgable dentist. He immediately put me at ease and took me through a thorough examination. Unfortunately, his staff can be a little distracted, and the facilities are not the most modern. However, I very highly recommend Dr. Jacobs for his skill - both dental and personal.

Dr. Jacobs is friendly and gentle. HIs work is very good. However, he handed me off to his associate when he stopped treating insurance patients himself. The crown I got from the associate was ok but less than excellent. That dentist is no longer in the practice. Dr. Jacobs is withdrawing from my insurance plan altogether and now I need to find a new dentist. Hygienists are professional and friendly. Their work is very good. Front desk is competent. Waiting area and treatment rooms plain, clean, sanitary, no frills.

Dr. Jacobs is wonderful. He is friendly, competant and warm. Unfortunately, his staff can be somewhat rude. When they call to confirm an appointment you'll get an earful if you cancel even if it's more than 24 hours notice. Some of his assistants who clean teeth are borderline incompetant. One of them knocked off my husbands temporary crown when cleaning. Whoops! Don't expect to negotiate any prices down. At most you'll get a 5% cash discount if paid for in advance. The doctor is great if you can avoid the staff who seem miserable and bitter.
