Dr. Barts was the worst experience of my life. I was not put to sleep however was charged $357.99 for it. Myk arm was strapped down completely from my elbow to wrist while 2 assts. of his held me down on the other side as he pulled out roots& nerves & proceeded to cut in the SEVERELY infected ring in m,y mouth that receed from an old root canal & tore it apart as if my mouth was a piece of SPAM. My comsultation was :OH I see u have roots & nerves left. Nice necklace," that was the extent of it before the torture began. Of course he`ll dent it but I`d like to see how his version of it would be if he were given truth serum. I`d take it in a heart beaty. He also gave me the wrong abtibitotic, so I had 2 take 2 treatments of another one. I had woken up screaming 3 times the night of my visit & they wanted me to stay in recovery for 1/2 hr. I tore off the oxygen & ran for my life. If you enjoy PAIN then see DFtr. Barts!

I was referred to this dentist by my regular dentist office. I had a terrible experience in DR Bart's office due to the extreme pain during the short procedure to extract my tooth. My pain was sensitive due to the tooth breaking and having just had a 2 hour root canal a week before. I was on advil for 2 days straight before entering his office. My jaw had already began to swell slightly from the tooth.During the procedure he numbed the area and waited about 5 mins before he began pulling at my tooth. I mumbled I was in pain, it hurt!!! 3 times he continued as if I said nothing. The hygienist acknowledged. He continued pulling until tears rolled down my face, then he stopped and attempted to give me another shot. It was a peirod of 2 to 3 minutes later.. When someone is yanking on your tooth, time is eternity. He was rude and very unempathetic, never saying a word or apology, just walked out of the room. Very barbaric in his mannerism. My thought: Before the procedure he wanted to put his hand in my mouth right coming out of a patients room next door. No washing hands, no gloves. He showed he was upset before my procedure by putting on gloves after my request 2 times. I suffered the payback by walking out with tears.

He performed an extraction for a root of a tooth (my regular dentist could not do it). It was a smooth procedure and I did not feel almost anything. It took less than 5 minutes. The nurse showed her professionalism by making an additional X-Ray for the region of extraction. The results appear to be quite good

Dr. Barts cannot have enough good reviews.
He helped me with my implant when I was at my worst going thru a divorce.
He and his staff are referred to by all dentists I have gone to - in the Charlotte area. Without a doubt , this man knows what he is doing , he is patient, he is thorough, he is reasonably priced. You will never regret going to Dr. Barts and his staff for your dental implants. I am a patient and will continue to be, I only have one problem , I do not want him to ever retire! lol Thank you Dr. Barts for your patience , understanding, and professionalism. L. Glenn!
