I was referred to this dentist by my regular dentist office. I had a terrible experience in DR Bart's office due to the extreme pain during the short procedure to extract my tooth. My pain was sensitive due to the tooth breaking and having just had a 2 hour root canal a week before. I was on advil for 2 days straight before entering his office. My jaw had already began to swell slightly from the tooth.During the procedure he numbed the area and waited about 5 mins before he began pulling at my tooth. I mumbled I was in pain, it hurt!!! 3 times he continued as if I said nothing. The hygienist acknowledged. He continued pulling until tears rolled down my face, then he stopped and attempted to give me another shot. It was a peirod of 2 to 3 minutes later.. When someone is yanking on your tooth, time is eternity. He was rude and very unempathetic, never saying a word or apology, just walked out of the room. Very barbaric in his mannerism. My thought: Before the procedure he wanted to put his hand in my mouth right coming out of a patients room next door. No washing hands, no gloves. He showed he was upset before my procedure by putting on gloves after my request 2 times. I suffered the payback by walking out with tears.
