I had the opposite experience with the elder Dr. Kopp, although it was 3 years ago. I had 2 wisdom teeth taken out and I was terrified. I'd never had anything like that done before. He was kind and pleasant, and not at all heavy-handed. He relaxed me by trying to take my mind off what was going on, and it was far less painful than I thought it would be. After the numbing stuff wore off, the pain and discomfort was horrible, but that was to be expected with two raw, gaping holes in my mouth. I hope I never, ever have to go through that horror again, but if I do, I am going back to Dr. Kopp. He made the procedure bearable.

There is William Kopp and his son in the dental office when I had work done. The elder gave me an extremely hurtful experience even though you may see in his office that he is a member of a certain organization and that he went to a tier 1 dental school so many years ago. The organization, I found out is really bogus. you can check this out for yourself. The pain injections did not help my anguish and when I asked him to stop what he was doing he said to his son in the room (maybe a DDS) that "it has to be done". I will never return. his hand is very heavy and large. I think that he should retire.
