I have been to three other oral surgeons in the Nashville area, and by far Dr. Mack and all the office staff and assistant were very accommodating for a dental phobic patient like myself. He listened to meand wasas gentle as possible! I would recommend this oral surgeon to anyone who asked me.
Thank you to everyone in the office for beingso kind, understanding and accommodating. You all did atremendous job!

I was referred to nashville oral surgery Dr.Mack for a consult wisdom teeth for my daughter. My dentist downtown referred me because I lived close to his office. The staff was friendly but the Dr. really creeped me out by getting too close to my daughter being unprofessional and rushed the consult. I didn't get all of my questions answered and ended up getting over paid. I decided not to schedule for the surgery for my daughter because if he was strange around my daughter in the consult in front of me then who knows what he does during the surgery? The oral surgeon upstairs staff couldn't get me in for a surgery in time for my daughter either and the lady on the phone was quite rude. It seems to me that entire building is unprofessional and I rather drive downtown for surgery than go there.
About Front Desk: The girl upfront was very nice but seemed untrained when I asked why I was over paid. The women who ended up handling the situation with my insurance and questions seemed pushy. Something seems odd about this establishment/surgical center.

I have had both an extraction and two surgeries by Dr. Mack. I have had very serious issues for quite some time and had two dozen specialist who were never able to determine the real issue. It has been a complicated problem. He did not treat me like a neurotic but listened to my history and the records. He has enough confidence to listen (very unusual) and said, we are going to find out what is really wrong and fix it! He has no ego problems as I have experienced with so many of the specialists I have seen. It took two surgeries but I am happy to report that for the first time in years …I am not in pain! So of course I am a very happy patient. He is wonderful! Extremely smart and willing to agree that every case is different when many surgeons want to put you in a catagory. He did not!
With my history, I feel I am qualified to say he is the best O. surgeon I have 'ever' seen.
His costs are in line and it is also obvious that he really cares about his patients.
His chair side manners are second to none! My recommendation cannot be measured!! If there was a 10 rating he would get it from me.

I was referred to Dr. Mack by Dr. James Allen. His office worked me in ASAP as I was in a great deal of pain.
He is a delightful surgeon. Tells you funny stories during the process to keep your mind off the procedure if you tend to get nervous during dental work. It was the easiest extraction I have ever had. No pain at all! I never even felt any of the shots he administered. He does it slowly and only a little at a time so you don't get the rapid heart racing that often happens. He was patient, compassionate and his personality is like a sunbeam.!
By far the best experience I have ever had from an Oral Surgeon!
Yes, yes, I would highly recommend Dr. Mack to anyone needing oral surgery.
He also called the next evening to make sure I was not in pain. Now that IS unusual!

Being a terrible dental patient, I am so happy to have been referred to Dr. Mack for oral sugery and extractions. I have visited him three times over the last three years and each time he has put my mind at ease. Both of his office locations are pleasant, staff is courteous and professional, and Dr. Mack is great dealing with frightened patients. Each visit was completely pain free, and my visit yesterday was also completely anxiety free. Based upon my first two visits, I felt no apprehension going to him yesterday for an extraction, and rightly so. I was treated with care and enjoyed his method of distracting me from the procedure. His office was cool, the chair comfortable, and the cost was reasonable. I will never go to anyone else for oral surgery or extractions. I'm amazed that I can say I love a dentist, but Dr. Mack is awesome. He knows how to deal with big babies and I like that because that is what I am at a dentist, a big baby at age 60. I would highly recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Mack removed my daughters wisdom teeth and she had the best expeirience. She didn't experience much pain or swelling. We left the office and she wanted a cheeseburger. Her case may have been unusual, but I think she did great! She has recommended Dr. Mack to all of her friends based on her good experience.
