DON'T go to Dr Anderton. He's only in town 3 days a week and he and his staff always try to use the excuse that they are working long days. I had 2 kids there, BOTH of them had to go to another orthodontist to fix problems that Dr Anderton created. He does NOT see every patient, his staff does more of the work than normal.

I've been seeing this guy since I was in 4th grade, I am currently a SENIOR in college. I've had braces on and off about 3x with this guy. I followed all the rules with retainers, my parents are Asian and they make sure I do so or they get very angry.
They charged my parents an for 2 of the 3x that I got braces back on. They DO NOT seem to have any of the solid techniques, they use methods from the 1950s. Rather than just installing permanent retainers like my new orthodontist did (started seeing him my freshman year of college). He just kept putting braces back on and charging me. The braces DO NOT look good, they are the shiny metal that stands out; my self-esteem dropped significantly when I was in high school because of this. No one in high school even has braces anymore.
My new orthodontist was cheaper, and gave me the clear braces.

I've gone to Dr. Anderton since my youngest was DUE to be born. I've done 3 of my children plus myself, now I'm doing braces with my last child. Staff is great and Dr. Anderton is well received by local dentists as doing a "great" job. I will be sad when my journey has ended.

Poor experience. His staff informed me that they accepted - and verified by phone - that they accepted my health insurance plan, for which I was responsible for 50%; signed a contract based on this info. TEN MONTHS after, they tell me their bills were rejected; I owed entire amount. Told me it was my fault, as I should have double-checked their verification with my ins myself. His staff refused any responsibility, were very cold and defensive; paid entire amt and had to postpone other medical procedure. Never in my life have had to "double check" a health care provider's verification of ins - I showed them and gave a copy of, my HMO card, which their staff assured me they accepted. Turns out it is the PPO version they accept. Had I known this, I never would have gone through with the braces, as I switched to the PPO plan the next year anyway and braces would have been covered.
When I attempted to speak with the doctor about this major problem that was primarily their fault, the doctor would not discuss the matter with me, stating he had nothing to do with the billing or insurance issues - a cop-out answer.
As for results, four years later, still wearing retainer, my TMJ has considerably worsened..

My daughters are very comfortable at their office. At first they were a bit scared, but the staff made us feel at home. They enjoy going in for their adjustments.

My family has been going to this office for the past 3 years, throughout this time it has been great!! Their staff is great and yes, you do have to wait sometimes a bit to get in, once you do your questions, concerns, or anything you might need are all answered. Dr. Anderton has made me, and my kids feel great about braces, and we have seen a huge difference already! I have recommended him to my closest friends and would go to him again if needed. You ROCK!!

He is absolutely HORRIBLE. I have gone to three different orthodontists before this guy and he is the absolute worst one I have ever gone to. He has WAY to many patients and you have to wait for over a half hour above when your appointment was going to start in order to get in. It is absolutely ridiculous. I would suggest not to go to him...appointments are always booked so you can never get in at the right time and then it just extends how long you have the braces on.

Dr. Anderton and his staff are the best. Kind, caring, friendly. I highly recommend him.
