First off, COST. This man and his staff deserve every penny and then some. I believe I was 12 years old when I first entered his office. I sit here now at 51 years old reflecting on life with all this garbage going on in the world and who pops into my mind? Yep dr. Crum! An example of Grace ,kindness ,professionalism ,etcetera etcetera. Seeking answers to why are people so divided, so mean and nasty to one another. My mother French and father African American (trying to be politically correct) and most my life at the poverty level we managed to become friends. A bit awkward for me due to the tremendous amount of respect, admiration and appreciation I have for him. I could go on. What I've got to say to those who may have had a less than pleasant experience is first take an honest look in the mirror. Second, nobody's PERFECT. To treat people as well as he does on the daily in this world of selfishness is beyond my scope of understanding. I guarantee you this, if the matter was approached even remotely close to acceptable.....he fixed the problem if it was fixable. If not, well everyone has a " off" day. But I cant see it. I love the man. If you need work done see Dr Crum, the experience will touch your soul.
And his staff the same

Dr. Crum took over my care after he bought the practice from Dr. Pinkerton. When my treatment reached it's end ahead of schedule Ann informed me that my braces would not be removed until the remaining $200.00 balance on my account was paid in full (equivalent to 4 months worth of payments) and had to scramble to settle my account or remain in braces longer than necessary. After my braces were removed it took over a week for my Hawley retainers to arrive from the off site lab (temporary retainers were not offered here like some of the other orthodontist offices in town). During that time period my mandibular central incisors shifted forward out of alignment but was never corrected in follow up appointments. Over time the structural damage has become quite extensive as a result of my bite being off: the occlusal surfaces of the maloccluded lower incisors have worn away due to attrition from grinding against the lingual surfaces of my central maxillary incisors. This has created severe enamel erosion, requiring repetitive and costly restoration to the affected teeth in both arches. When I brought the shifting to his attention Dr. Crum said it was minor - if I had known the future damage it would cause I would have insisted he fix it.

Dr. Crum is is crummy on his work. I had ortho work there and he does not attend to my concerns. My teeth are not align as promise. He is dishonest and not trustworthy of decision making. He shaved my enamel and told me I had "too much". What a crook. He charge more for his mistakes.

Bob Crum has treated 13 of our kids. We've have taken our own children there and our foster children. He is the most gently man I have ever met. He has always been patient with our kids. He is up front with costs and treatment plans. His office staff is wonderful. No problems here with Dr. Robert Crum.

Dr. Crum treated my brother and I and he is the nicest man in the world. Our teeth turned out great and the office is extremely friendly and professional. Everything always went very smoothly. They are not pushy like other orthodontist's offices. Dr. Crum and his staff would bend over backwards to make sure everything was perfect and give the best service possible. I found him to be extremely understanding. I would highly recommend his services!

Stay away from this man!!!!
This is a horrible orthodontist, he is dishonest, greedy. Throughout both of my kids treatment he kept adding on "needed" treatments that was never part of the initial treatment program and fees. Each childs account went up over 2K as time with him increased, this is on top of the initial 6K he charged for each child. He would become belligerant if I questioned why additional, and I might add very expensive treatments continued to be added. Once I had paid the entire amounts due on their accounts their treatment was suddenly done and he insisted the braces were taken off within a week. This is after I had just been told by him each child would still need about 6 more of treatment. Overall the staff is professional except for the office manager and his girl who helps with the initial evaluation and talking you into services with him. He is a bully to his staff, I witnessed him yelling at one ortho assistant when she refused to drive his Porche to the dealer for services because she was afraid to drive it and possibly damage it and be held accountable. She finally did when it was clear it was drive the car or loose her job.
