My family has been going to Dr Yu at his Union Square office for over 20 years. He's a great dentist. I have absolute confidence in his care, and would recommend him to anyone.
He is very friendly, unpretentious, and communicates well. Be prepared to listen to his stories of his travels and opinions on local politics and news (I think he does it to keep my mind off the procedure). A very interesting and thoughtful guy. He definitetly is personally interested in you and your dental health. He even does his own cleaning. He has very high ethical standards, and his team really helps out with the insurance processing.
The bells from the O'Farrell street cable car out his window also really help with the stress and anxiety!
