Dr. Nelson is the only dentist my children have ever seen. My son is going through orthodontia now. My daughter is a cancer survivor and has unique dental issues related to her treatment. I was so impressed to find that Dr. Nelson is knowledgeable about the effects chemotherapy can have on tooth development! I know other parents of cancer survivors who have been taken to task by dentists accusing them of neglecting their children's teeth, when in fact the problems are caused by treatment.
Not only is Dr. Nelson so very knowledgeable, but his calm and reassuring manner with the kids (and parents) is great . We also love his associate, Dr. Rosemary Gonzales -- a real gem! You cannot go wrong taking your children to this practice. Even though we live about an hour away in traffic, we feel the trip is worth it for this wonderful care!
