I went to Dr. Coven several years ago with loose teeth and bleeding gums. Today my teeth are stable, my gums don't bleed and I can easily eat a steak. I owe this all to Dr. Coven and my own desire to do follow up maintenance.
Firstly, Dr. Coven is 100% honest and will always tell it like it is from her point of view. She is also sensitive to the patients needs and she has a good sense of what the patient is going through. She was never pushy and let me decide when to do each leg of the surgery. She is extremely thorough in her work. As an example, she never lets me out of the chair until she has repeatedly cleaned & examined my mouth and every drop of plaque is removed. Her fees are affordable so that I am able to follow through with the treatments for a successful recovery.
Now for the good part. She is up to date on the latest treatments. After I started working with her to remove the initial tartar & plaque (which took several sessions of deep cleaning), she told me about a new product called Biora (?). It is applied after surgery to an ultra cleaned root. After a few months it helps regenerate new bone.
Now the great part. It worked!!! I can even eat steak even though I had 50% bone loss & infected gums. davenyc@aol.com
