If you're looking for a pain free experience then Dr. Pirk is the Doctor to see. I have to have 8 gum grafts, 2 dental implants and ridge augumentation (both sides where molars are missing).
So far I have had the right bottom side of my mouth worked on (2 gum grafts, 1 ridge augumentation (bone), and an implant). I am very sensitive to pain and I can honestly tell you that I felt no pain whatsoever, not during the procedure or even after the procedure. I can't wait to get the left side of my mouth worked on now that I know that it doesn't hurt!
I am still a waiting to get the top part of the implant in (he just put in the screw and we are waiting for it to heal) but I just wanted to share my experience (during procedure). I am very happy so far. Also, Dr. Pirk is very soft spoken and such a sweetheart. I felt comfortable talking to him. The money spent is definitely worth it.
