I never had negative feelings about dentistry until I went to Gentle Dental. Now I understand the fear some people have about going to the dentist. The office is run-down, the front office staff are downright rude. I had barely walked in the door when the staff started yelling and literally throwing paperwork at me. The technician repeatedly choked me with all manner of tools available to her including x-ray film, water, and air-suction device. She managed to turn a seemingly benign mirror into a jabbing weapon. Some might think that the polish used is intended for teeth, but the technician seemed to believe that it belonged on my gums, on the roof of my mouth and down my throat. The appointment ended with a very cordial "you can rinse before you leave", which was much appreciated because my mouth was stuck together with remnants of polish. Dr Cage seemed to perform the requisite functions of a dentist, but was completely uncommunicative about the health of my gums and teeth. Even the toughest dentist-goers risk trauma at Gentle Dental.
