Dr. Friedman did take me on after the official dentist transfer date with my managed care health insurance plan, which was very nice of her. She also fit me in at a time that didn't require taking time off from work, which was also very nice. However, I didn't have a great experience overall.
Her facilities seem old and outdated, and the patient rapport on the part of both Dr. Friedman and her staff was poor. They immediately sat me down for X-rays without explaining why. I was then taken to the exam room and she did what seemed like a very quick exam and told me I need four procedures. When I requested that the first procedure, a deep cleaning, be done immediately, I was told that it would be unfair for Dr. Friedman to wait while I called my insurance company to inquire about how much the copay was. Dr. Friedman did do a basic cleaning, but again she seemed very rushed and not extremely thorough. Overall, Dr. Friedman was gruff and did not provide a level of treatment which left me feeling like I could trust her work. Don't expect any sort of luxury experience at this office.
