Dr. Lipps does very good work. He put veneers on most of my top front teeth, and these match perfectly and look completely natural. He replaced a number of fillings and these are clean and smooth. He is courteous and efficient, has a pleasant manner and a pleasant, though somewhat cramped, office. I told him once that I do not like to be pushed on brushing, etc., unless he sees a problem. He noted this on my chart, and I never heard about it again until he found something to remark on. He keeps the sales pitch to a minimum, with one brief recommendation and follow up only as necessary. His hygienists are pleasant and efficient, if a little chatty. I left because I found his billing practices intolerable. I have a situation complicated by divorce, and his account person was unable--after years of complaints--to get things straight. This confusion, compounded by bills that just state an amount due--little or no detail--got on my nerves, and I left abruptly. This is a small thing, but over years it adds up. Bottom line: he's courteous and does great work, but he has a sloppy billing service.
