I have been a patient with Dr. Lipps since 1990. I have recommended him to all of my family and friends. My whole family goes there and we have all been pleased. I have a history of not liking the dentist office, but Dr. Lipps and his staff have always made me comfortable. Dr. Lipps makes sure I have little or no discomfort when working on my teeth.

About Front Desk: Front desk and payment desk very kind and friendly. Gave me good information on future procedure costs and explained everything very well. They called my insurance to determine the best route to take. Great experience.

I have been a patient for 23 years of the office and a patient for at least 10 years. Dr. Lipps is competent, but not particularly personable. Most of my interactions at the dental office has been limited to communications with the dental hygenist, with the dentist strolling in at the end for 1-2 minute conversation. My main issue with this office is that the hygienists rather than the dentist seems to play the deciding role on referrals, recommendation of dental care etc rather than coming directly from the dentist. Attempts to speak with the dentist in appointments when he was not in the office also failed to get a call back for several months. When the office did call, it was from a staff member.

The office is unorganized and impersonal. Dr Lipps himself was okay but everyone else I had to deal with was much less than friendly or helpful. I got the impression they are about money and that is all. I regret ever going to this office and will never go back after the way I was treated. I would not recommend them to anyone!!! Terrible!!

Dr. Lipps does very good work. He put veneers on most of my top front teeth, and these match perfectly and look completely natural. He replaced a number of fillings and these are clean and smooth. He is courteous and efficient, has a pleasant manner and a pleasant, though somewhat cramped, office. I told him once that I do not like to be pushed on brushing, etc., unless he sees a problem. He noted this on my chart, and I never heard about it again until he found something to remark on. He keeps the sales pitch to a minimum, with one brief recommendation and follow up only as necessary. His hygienists are pleasant and efficient, if a little chatty. I left because I found his billing practices intolerable. I have a situation complicated by divorce, and his account person was unable--after years of complaints--to get things straight. This confusion, compounded by bills that just state an amount due--little or no detail--got on my nerves, and I left abruptly. This is a small thing, but over years it adds up. Bottom line: he's courteous and does great work, but he has a sloppy billing service.
