My regular cosmetic dentist was not available, he was gone skiing after extracting a tooth, it was not healing properly. He asked "Spooky Vu" to handle the emergency. She took a look, sprayed some water in the hole and split. Afterwards, another technician put a plastic partial to be suited as a temporary bridge to cover the hole. It was terrible, the roots to all my teeth were showing in this hole the pain went all down my neck, and all up the side of my head into my cranium and eye. Well, the temporary bridge popped off my mouth in the car 20 minutes later on the 405 freeway (62 mile drive home). I spent the night in pain, during Christmas, vomiting into a toilet no pain meds or antibiotics prescribed. Vu never even checked the bridge before I left, I suppose the attitude was "I'm not getting paid." I returned again in desperation, same encounter the bridge popped off 2 hours later...except this time? A knife shaped plastic mold was poking into the nerves. I found some relieve in Advil gel caps put right on the roots showing as the pharmacist advised and it worked a little bit until my regular dentist returned, once he did? Tooth was healed in a day or two...it was a nightmare.
