Many years ago my 8 yr. old daughter received her first filling from Dr. Firshien. When administering the novacaine, he hit a nerve. Not only was it painful but her cheek swelled hugely. He yelled at her for crying and for being scared, and never followed up on her condition. We never went back and he never called to ask how she was. She is now 24 yrs. old and her fear of dentists is excrutiating.
