While pleased with the level of service from Dr Beard himself, I was not told that he was not in my network which ended up costing me double what I would have paid had I used an in network provider. I learned that he was not in network after discovering an unopened check from my insurance carrier that sat in my garage for over 1 month. I would have appreciated knowing this ahead of time so that could have made a decision about all the out of pocket cost that I ended up with. He is a great dentist that seems to care about the patients level of care. I also found a billing error - i was told that I would not be billed an additional fee for a service and today I learned that not only was I billed but the insurance carrier was billed too. There is a young lady in the office who seemed to have an attitude and sort of scolded me about flossing more. I felt like she was really talking down on me which made me feel really bad. I knew after she serviced me that I would not return! Sorry Dr Beard, loved your service and care but can do without the ridicule and the extra charges!
