Robert Chong was my main dentist for ~25 years; now I generally see his son Greg, who is a better fit for me. Greg is willing to give me local anaesthesia slowly enough that I feel almost no pain during the shot(s); Robert did not take that time, and the shots were painful. Greg is completely respectful; Robert less so. In 30 years I've had a lot of work; quality is usually very high. Weak spots: 1) a number of things have had to be redone (e.g., one fake tooth keeps loosening, which negatively affects my brushing and flossing, because I'm worried about knocking it out again), and of course I have to pay each time (no dental insurance); and 2) a few times I went for scheduled visits, they weren't ready (bridge not made yet) and Robert C. didn't bother to call to save me the long trip (the time-and-transit rebate I requested eventually came, but not w/o a fight, and its genuineness was dubious). Price comparison w/ other dentists says this office is very expensive; however, they have given me an extraordinarily flexible payment plan. Equipment is always current state-of-the-art (I think). I've been well informed on cost/benefit analyses of complex procedures/solutions, such as a bridge. Hygienists & front desk staff are great.
