Recommended by my DDS in Sacramento I went with confidence but cautious about pain issues I'd had with previous dentists.
I needed a certain pain medication that I had successfully had a couple times in the past. I advised Dr. Jackson of the complications I'd had with other medications and that I'd prefer to use one a pharmacist recommended. Dr. Jackson called a pharmacist, and arranged the prescription I requested. [I'd talked to three other dental offices about my pain mgt. challenges -- but only Dr. Jackson was willing to follow up with my request]
Consequently I've only had to take two of the pain pills and have avoided the excessive and very problematic retching from pain killers previously prescribed by other doctors.

I had gone in expecting a general anesthetic but was refused because I'd drank a little water that day. I was forced to either accept sedation or reschedule. I chose sedation over rescheduling.
I think the sedation approach was actually better due to a faster recovery from the sedation than from a general anesthetic.
While there were a couple misunderstandings he and his staff resolved them professionally. Good value for the cost.
