My worst dental experince. She attempthed a root canal on a painful tooth (Destroyed the preexisting Crown in doing so).Said she was unable to do root canal because of blocked channels. Charged me for a new crown. Tooth became very infected and painful over several weeks. When I returned to her office she said it would probably be best to pull the tooth!!. Went to an endonist on my own..who had to preform two root canals now and saved the teeth. (The one next to it was now also infected.) Needless to say I changed to a new dentist. This dentist pointed out other problems with some of the other work she had done..including an ill fitting gold onlay with a hole next to it that was leaking and now decaying. It had to be replaced with a new crown.. (I also remember when I came back to her office for the 2nd appointment to have this onlay installed on my tooth I waited in the dental chair for over an hour. When I complained I was told I was next and not to worry only to be told later that the dental restoration was "lost" and they would have to redo the impression and I would have to come back in 2 weeks!! They had spent the previous hour looking for the restoration but did not feel it was important to tell me what was going on. Beware!
