I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. On my first visit he was rude and patronizing. He scolded me in a schoolmarmish way about the lapse of time since my most recent checkup, and then seemed genuinely disappointed that I required nothing but a cleaning. He campaigned for referrals.
About nine months later, I had made plans to get a new dentist when I had a crown detach. I resigned myself to using him one last time as this was an emergency. When I called the receptionist informed me that Dr Poole was planning to go to a conference and would not be able to see me for 9 days. I should have gotten a referral at that point, but a sucked it up and waited for my appointment. On the day of my appointment, I called to inform the receptionist that I had difficulty with traffic, and they could expect me to be 15 minutes late. I continued across town and was pulling in the parking lot when the receptionist called me back and told me the Dr. was running late and didn't think he could get to my appointment till after he came back from lunch. I was told to return 2 hours later. At that point, I realized that I couldn't afford the dental bills that Dr. Poole would receive if I returned at a later time and gave him a piece of my mind
