I was referred to Dr. Heggen by Dr. Gregg Uechert for root canal treatment on two teeth. After explaining my previous disasterous experiences with dental treatment and my anxiety level, Dr. Heggen was quick to offer my options for a more relaxed dental experience. He and his staff are very attentive to your comfort and will quickly take care of any discomfort you might be having. One root canal was done with nitrous oxide only (in addition to the shots) and the second one I had taken Halcion as prescribed for an even more relaxed appt. I can honestly say that I did not have any 'pain' at either visit -- thanks to the care of Dr. Heggen (even the shots were not painful -- believe it or not).
I have a third appt set up later this month to complete the 2nd root canal after an infection was discovered while starting the root canal. I have my fingers crossed that my 3rd visit to their office will be pain-free as well.
