I have gone to see Dr. Marcucci since I moved to San Francisco, and I have always gotten great care. In addition to replacing some not-so-great fillings from childhood, he has performed the dreaded "root-canal" and I have to say that the worst part of it simply keeping my mouth open for so long. I really did not have any pain.
Many of his office staff have been there a long time and work together as a highly coordinated team. One of the hygienists, Michelle, is really superb.
The atmosphere is open, and they have a great collection of music--not the Muzak from my childhood dentist that can still make me break out into a cold sweat.
I recently sent my husband to see him, and he won't stop raving about the professionalism of the office, and in particular, Dr. Marcucci's demeanor. He has a really calming manner. He explains everything very thoroughly without scaring you to death.
I had a former coworker who moved away from the bay area but would fly from the east coast to see Dr. Marcucci. That says it all!
