I EMPHATICALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE
Dr. McDow is an excellent oral surgeon. He's well trained and does his best to ease any anxiety. HOWEVER, it's the time and stress spent BEFORE and AFTER the surgery that this NEGATIVE feedback/review comes from. The OFFICE STAFF has proven to be disorganized and non-communicative as a whole.
It's an unfortunate mismatch of a competent surgeon with such an incompetent and unreliable staff. And the problem is that the majority of interaction between the patient and the office occurs between the patient and staff. Not all of the staff members are this way, I had the luck of working with one helpful member, Jennifer, but she didn't have the authority to help with the mis-scheduling or payment errors.
The finance staff, Jo and Elena, though friendly, didn't handle questions of the claim and payments accurately and timely- and though my file is in one place, misspellings and errors were on my reimbursement checks causing stress, time delays, and unnecessary revisits to the office to clear things up.
I would expect the office manager, Geeta, to make sure the procedures of the office would be handled smoothly, however, my questions seemed to be just passed along without much concern.
