Dr. Stanley Boyd is a magical and wonderfully gifted dentist. Prior to moving to NYC from Philadelphia, I had horrible dental care. I'm HIV positive and had always been concerned about dental issues (safety, etc). When entering Dr. Boyd's practice 3 years ago, I had many dental issues. He and his staff immediately sensed my level of nervousness and went to great lengths to make sure I: 1.) was comfortable / relaxed, and 2.) understood the current appt's procedure(s), and 3.) educated regarding HIV/Dental issues.
The staff -- pure joy. From the front office, to the hygenist, to the dental assistants -- all amazing and dedicated professionals that follow Dr. Boyd's high standards of patient care. Billing has never been an issue; the front office is on top of everything that is going on.
Chair-side manners: excellent and re-assuring.
Referrals: From the dental surgeon who removed a previous implant (bad Phila experience), to my Periodontist, Orthodontist, Dermatologist, and General Physician, all have been tremendous. This dentist knows his patients as well as who to refer them to.
