I began visiting Dr. Blume’s office because my insurance changed and he was in network where as my previous dentist was not. Anyway, they told me I needed a procedure that was not necessary, and did not even tell me that I was going to have to pay out of pocket because it “wasn’t” covered by my insurance. When lo and behold I called the insurance company and they actually coded wrong so my insurance paid 60%. I never received my refund, and Dr. Blume’s office charged my insurance and me for the procedure. All they want is money. They also, missed two cavities that were forming because the dentist was rushing through the visit. I have now gone back to my other dentist even though they are out of my network.
